COMBATING CHRONIC PROBLEMS

Only £75.00 Includes Lunch and Refreshments

If you have never used shockwave therapy before, would like to learn more why to use and how to use, then this course is for you!

Shockwave is a clinically proven treatment for chronic soft tissue injuries. A shockwave is a sound wave that passes through the body and is not an electrical pulse. Shockwave initiates a pro-inflammatory response in the treated tissues. Multiple Studies (including RCTs) has shown an improvement rate of 60 – 80 % improvement in chronic conditions that have not responded to conservative management. Reported side effects are minimal and it has been approved by NICE guidelines as effective treatment for refractory conditions such as plantar fasciitis, greater trochanteric pain syndrome and calcific tendinopathy of the shoulder.

This course is suitable for health care professionals including physiotherapists, osteopaths, sports therapists, podiatrists and GP’s. Prior experience in shockwave therapy is not essential for this course.

Hosted by Benoy Matthews, MSc, MCSP, MAACP, an experienced physiotherapist practising since 1998, this course has a wealth of information and ideas to help you take the next step in maximising the potential revenue opportunities offered by ESWT.
