This revolutionary laser peel is suitable for all ethnicities and skin-types – unlike conventional peels. The Spectra XT’s deeper wavelength can also tackle the problems deep down, minimising the risk of damage to the skin’s surface. Freckles and other pigmentation can be treated easily while minimising the risk of inflammation.
On the deepest setting, the Spectra XT carbon laser gets to work on stimulating the re-modelling of collagen. Sometimes called the ‘Hollywood Peel’ or ‘Carbon Laser Peel’, this can help ease the appearance of wrinkles, tone the face and reduce large pores effectively.
Carbon laser peel / Hollywood Peel
The Carbon Spectra Laser Peel is the original Carbon Laser Peel. The Spectra XT is an advanced multi-platform laser treatment with three depth settings: 595, 660 and 1064 nm. The Hollywood Peel (at 1064 nm) takes about 45 minutes. The skin is covered with a carbon face mask and the laser is passed over it several times, blasting off the dried solution, taking with it dead skin and impurities.
The skin is heated and the surface exfoliated, while deeper down pigments are broken up. The effects are immediate as well as long term.This peel is the equivalent of 4 chemical peels in one, removing up to 80 microns of dead skin cells from the epidermis leaving refreshed, rejuvenated and revitalised skin. The carbon peel instantly resurfaces and rejuvenates the skin creating a radiant, glowing complexion, while stimulating collagen. The peel minimises enlarged pores, inflammatory acne, fine lines, wrinkles and skin tone. Effects are immediate as can be seen long term, this peel it’s gentle enough to be performed every 2-3 weeks. The entire procedure is 45 minutes or less.
A quick procedure with no downtime to treat enlarged pores and wrinkles using the 1064nm quasi-long pulse, enhancing collagen synthesis followed by collagen remodeling -plumping lines and wrinkles, reducing redness, shrinking pores associated with excessive sebum production through controlling sebaceous gland activity and achieving pore tightening, as well as heating and killing the p-acne bacteria found within the sebaceous gland associated with active acne. Recommended 8-10 sessions are needed 1-3 weeks apart.
Gold Toning Acne & Rosacea Treatment
Acne responds to repeat laser treatments, the Spectra Gold Toning Handpiece gently treats active acne, early red scarring, and redness associated with acne. It shrinks oil glands, drying it up and killing bacteria that causes acne. A series of 6-8 treatments are recommended. The procedure is very comfortable and has very little downtime.The Gold Toning treatment is also very effective at treating Rosacea, the Spectra XT is the only FDA approved laser for treating Rosacea and Facial Flushing.
RuVY Touch 'Freckle' Treatment
The RuVY touch laser treatment delivers intense energy into the skin and can precisely treat pigmented lesions, freckles and other epidermal pigmentation.
A series of 1-2 sessions are needed at 4-6 week intervals.
