Ulfit precisely delivers 65-75°C of High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) to targeted layers of skin tissue. Skin coagulation is created at those deeper layers, whilst sparing the surrounding tissue at the skin’s surface, therefore no downtime is required.
The Wound Healing Process
The Ulfit HIFU treatment results in inflammation of the treated area. After 3 days during the proliferative phase, the tissues granulate and the wounded cells contract. This allows collagen synthesis to begin. After around 6 weeks tissues begin the remodelling phase where the collagen fibres are strengthened, rearranging themselves, this, in turn, tightens and lifts the surface of the skin, and the fat layer is reduced.
