Ultrasound is rapidly becoming a core part of modern MSK practice and in 2026, Venn Healthcare will be bringing a new generation of ultrasound systems to the UK for physiotherapists and MSK clinicians, in partnership with European market leader VINNO.
VINNO is already well established across Europe, with a strong presence in physiotherapy, sports medicine and MSK clinics in countries such as Spain and the Netherlands. For Venn Healthcare, introducing ultrasound is a natural next step. As the UK’s leading shockwave specialist, we work closely with physios and MSK professionals every day and see how imaging is increasingly shaping assessment, treatment planning and clinical confidence.
Why Ultrasound?
For MSK clinicians, ultrasound is about more than producing images. It supports better clinical reasoning, clearer communication with patients and more accurate targeting of treatment. When combined with shockwave therapy, ultrasound supports clinical assessment with real time imaging, allowing more confident and accurate targeting of treatment . It also supports wider MSK applications, including ultrasound guided injections and interventional procedures where appropriate.
Our aim is not to overcomplicate MSK practice or turn clinicians into radiologists. The focus is on practical, clinically relevant imaging that fits into real appointment times and enhances day to day decision making.
From 2026, Venn Healthcare will supply the VINNO ultrasound range across multiple formats, allowing clinics to choose systems that reflect how they actually work. This will include handheld ultrasound systems for point of care scanning, ultra portable laptop systems for flexible clinic use, and cart based platforms for busy physiotherapy and multidisciplinary MSK clinics.
As with shockwave therapy, ultrasound will be supported by Venn Healthcare’s education led approach. Structured training, practical clinical education and ongoing support will be central to helping physiotherapists and MSK professionals use ultrasound confidently, appropriately and within their scope of practice.
The VINNO ultrasound range will be available through Venn Healthcare from 2026.
